How It Works
To get an understanding of how my approach works, you need to understand the following three things
1. You can't deal with your stress if you are too stressed
Sounds like a "Catch 22" doesn't it? But it's easily remedied – all you need to do is relax. Relaxation is an essential part in dealing with stress.
You need to find a sense of calm, even if it's only briefly, before you can deal with the deeper issues surrounding your stress and anxiety. If you are in total flux then you won't be able to focus on what really needs to be done to create a calmer more fulfilling life.
This is where many people stop. They feel the benefits of a calmer sense of mind that relieves their stress for a while, but relaxation is only part of the solution.
2. Stress symptoms are just that, symptoms.
You need to deal with the cause of your stress before you can get it under control. Sometimes the causes of stress are external (like work or trauma) but it's our internal reactions to these stressors that determine how well we manage it (or not).
And while you can't always control what happens to you, you can control how you react to it. It's a combination of your unique personality, belief systems and attitudes that determine whether or not you perceive an external event as a threat. In many cases when you can alter your perceptions of a stressor, it no longer has control over you.
3. Stress is experienced on both a conscious and a subconscious level.
It's true that you have an innate reasoning ability and self awareness that allows you to understand and control many aspects of stress in your life. This is where you can change how you consciously react to stress.
On the other hand, there are some aspects of stress that is triggered on a deeper level. You may even think that sometimes your stress is irrational and no matter what you do, you just can't get rid of that reaction. That's where you need to dig a little deeper and transform things on a subconscious level.
What makes us human is that we are a combination of both our conscious and our subconscious minds. And because of this we can change our reactions to deep set stress triggers as well using our unique self awareness and reasoning ability to deal effectively deal with stress as it occurs.
My unique approach brings all of these elements together to address stress from every angle. What's more, the results are fast, effective and long lasting. Aside from significantly decreasing your stress, you'll also discover that you'll probably experience the following side effects
